Aanjichigeng strives to honor, celebrate, and educate about the past, present, and future of Indigenous people in the Great Lakes region through the transdisciplinary traditions of Indigenous storytellers, artists, and culture bearers.

Cultural Preservation

We work to protect and maintain the Chief Buffalo Memorial while honoring the legacy of Chief Buffalo and the history of our region.

Our programs focus on engaging the community through art, storytelling, and cultural activities that highlight Indigenous history and contemporary contributions.

Artistic Support

We provide resources and support for Native artists, helping them to showcase their work and connect with broader audiences.
